Marsh Farm Carnival Connections
The Marsh Farm Community Connections Programme is an arts and regeneration project that will provide capacity building and educational opportunities for a wide range of praticipants accross the estate. We aim to target Black & Ethnic minority communities, especially young people through workshops in schools and community groups. We will establish a vibrant carnival arts programme on the estate, linking with both local and town wide initiatives and events, such as Luton International Carnival, The Marsh Farm Festival, Luton Mela and Black History Month.
The objective of the project is to improve access by Black and Ethnic Minorities, and other communities to cultural arts and events both around Luton and nationwide. To improve educational attainment amongst young people and to build pride in the local community by enhancing people and social development.
